Railings, Gates & Frames

Cut right.
Welded right.

Nothing on a building is ever the dimension it is supposed to be. Steps settle, posts lean, openings end up an inch out of square, and that is exactly why a fabricated handrail or gate beats an off-the-shelf kit: it gets built to the opening that actually exists. Late Night Fabrication makes handrails, guard rails, gates, frames, stands and supports in steel, aluminum or stainless. The process is simple — the opening gets measured, the piece gets built in the shop at Clayton, and it arrives fitting. Aluminum and stainless are worth considering for anything living outdoors in Johnston County humidity, and stainless in particular stops the annual repaint. One straight note: structural work on a building can require permits and a general contractor under North Carolina rules, so tell us what the piece is for and you will get an honest answer about the scope we can take on.

Where we work

Clayton & the
rest of Johnston.

The shop is at 96 Pecan Ln #104 in Clayton, about twenty minutes southeast of Raleigh, and work comes in from across Johnston County and the wider Triangle: Garner, Smithfield, Archer Lodge, Wendell, Zebulon, Knightdale, Willow Spring, Fuquay-Varina, Benson, Selma and Raleigh itself. If the part fits in a truck, it can come to the shop.

Tell us what you need made or fixed — a custom part, a cracked casting, a handrail, a gate, a frame, or a run of brackets that all have to match. A photo with a tape measure in it answers most questions in one go. Quotes are free, and if a job is not worth doing you will be told that too.
